In the days before the world wide flood, GOD saw that the wickedness and depravity of man had grown great on the whole bearth, and that every imagination or intent of the thoughts of his heart were only evil continually. So the LORD was sorry that He had made mankind on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart to bring judgment on the earth. Noah, however, found favor in the eyes of the LORD. Noah was a righteous man, blameless compared to his generation because Noah walked with God.
