"Some ungodly people have wormed their way into your churches, saying that God’s marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives. The condemnation of such people was recorded long ago, for they have denied our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ... Don’t you realize that those who go on practicing sin will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Stop fooling yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive to parents, or cheat people of their money —none of these people will inherit the Kingdom of God... In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. What ended up happening to them serves as an example of those who will suffer the punishment of eternal fire... And some of you Christians were just like this also before you believed, but you repented and were washed by the atoning sacrifice of Christ, then you were sanctified and set apart for God who made you holy, and as a result you were justified and declared free of all your past guilt in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
