Matthew 24:7 Jesus: "Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be lack of food and new earthquakes all over the world. But all this is only the first of the earth's birth pains, with much more to come."
Matthew 24:37-39: Jesus: "When I return, for my followers the rest of the world will be like it was in Noah’s day. (The LORD observed the extent of human lawlessness and wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil). So it will be in the last days just like before the great flood, unbelievers were oblivious to their own destruction, enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. They were oblivious, until the flood came and swept them all away. So will it be in the last days at the coming of the Son of God."
