As much as being born-again by the power of The Holy Spirit through the ransom of Jesus Christ is a marvelous thing, we suffer when we neglect to keep our eyes focused on Jesus Christ and start allowing our desires to predominate our eyes, hearts, and minds. This is when we grieve the Holy Spirit inside us and as a result we ourselves start to grieve for what seems like no reason. But in reality God the Father is getting our attention to remind us that as his born-again children, we need to stay focused on the bigger picture. Always keeping our eyes hearts and minds seeking His will and righteousness first and foremost so that we able to avoid all the traps of the enemy (satan) that seek to destroy and trip us up spiritually and physiologically. Indeed when we remain focused on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and seek his perfect will and guidance, we become more than winners of the greatest prizes this world could never offer. Being in Christ Jesus means we have his perfect peace and love inside us, and His perfect peace and love always dominates over all fear, and runs roughshod over what unbelievers consider disappointments. But to us as true believers in Christ, seeming disappointments are the bigger picture of Gods overriding will that has a greater purpose that God reveals to us in His good timing. Eventually God allows us to look back at our past and see how following God's path rather then our own will, rescues us from terrible life decisions and ultimately great loss, sorrow, and disappointment. “Despite all disappointments, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.” Romans 8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7JTx1ScD-w

Those of us who truly believe and know Jesus Christ personally, love Him even though we have never seen Him. Though we do not see him now, we trust him; and we rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting Him will be the salvation of our souls. This salvation was something even the ancient prophets wanted to know more about when they prophesied about His gracious salvation that was coming prepared for those who would follow Christ in the future. Those ancient prophets wondered what time or situation the Holy Spirit within them was talking about when He told them in advance about Christ’s 1st coming, suffering, and rising from the dead with great glory of salvation afterward. Those ancient prophets were told that their messages were not for themselves, but for those in the future (NOW) who truly choose to believe and follow after Jesus Christ. And now this Good News has been announced to you (who still don't believe) by those of us who preach in the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. This is all so wonderful that even the angels in heaven are watching these things unfold in great anticipation of new souls like yours being saved and reborn everyday into children of God. Because we are created in the image of Almighty God, but only so very slightly by comparison, we all have aspirations as if we are going to live forever against the backdrop of this wonderful gift called creation that surrounds us all. But the truth is that without God's son Jesus Christ as our savior to extend our lives past this mere representation and shadow of life, we will live forever separated from all the Fathers love, glory, and peace. What the Father wants us to experience by following His Son Jesus Christ and being led and filled by His Holy Spirit is simply too marvelous to express, and surpasses all ability to express in words or be hindered with the pains or depressions of this life..
Jesus Said: "Stop worrying and being preoccupied and obsessed about these things in life, saying, 'What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?' These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. But you as a believer seek FIRST the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously as a child of God, and the Father will give you everything you need. (Matthew 6)

I understand we live in a material world, but we place far too much emphasis on the flesh and physical, myself included. Not withstanding that everything created by Jesus Christ in this world is marvelous and intended for our benefit and pleasure within the context of God's plan and word. But everything physical in this life is temporary and cannot inherit by Heaven, just look and smell your days old garbage waiting to be buried. We need to keep the physical and material in perspective as a temporary wonderful gift from God. Because flesh and blood, along with cars and houses cannot and will not inherit the kingdom of God, so we must all be born again spiritually and be seated in heavenly places by the power of the Holy Spirit... Jesus Said: "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. "Do not be amazed that I say to you, 'You must be born again of the spirit, or you will never see the Kingdom of God.' (John 3)… Even though we were all once walking dead because of our sins, the Holy Spirit gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead and we believed. (It is only by God's grace, a gift, that we have been saved!) For God the Holy Spirit raised us from the dead along with Christ spiritually (Born Again) and so now we are seated with Jesus Christ spiritually in the heavenly realms, even though physically we are still on earth, because we are united with Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit that has replaced our once dead spirit. (Ephesians 2)..

Is there anything in this world worth exchanging for your eternal soul, and the souls of those you love ?
When I look at the past I only see how the Lord's forgiving and merciful hand has miraculously guided my life away from the enemy and the pit I deserve. When I think of the future I have learned from experience that I must seek the Lords will to avoid disaster. So as A result I live only in the present where the Lord meets me everyday and where there is enough to contend with... "You, O LORD, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. I cried out to the LORD, and he answered me from his holy mountain. I lay down and sleep, yet I wake up in safety, because the LORD is watching over me. Because of of you Lord I am not afraid of ten thousand enemies. (Psalm 3)...
Today we talk about love and express love as if it is something directly derived from pleasure whether its to please ourselves, others, or our children, we are more then willing to sacrifice almost anything of real value to give and derive pleasure as a counterfeit “fast food” expressions of love. This is why our society is so messed up with broken families and marriages because once gratification and pleasure is spent up, we are unwilling to do the hard work of building an actual relationship, marriage and tough-love raising our children by moral example and Godly precepts which gives true lasting and growing satisfaction which is true love. It is only in building a Godly life and reaching its loving conclusion do we grow ourselves and get lasting satisfaction which builds character in our house. So what is true love....(1 Corinthians 13) Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand to have its own way. It is not irritable or cold, and it keeps no record of being wronged for retaliation. It does not rejoice about sin but always seeks what is right and true, and rejoices whenever the truth wins out. True Love never gives up, never loses faith in God, is always hopeful and endures, finding a way through every difficult circumstance... So you see true love is not about being childish, taking the wide, easy and fast road toward perpetual self gratification, but rather turning around with Jesus help and taking the narrow, long and difficult road toward growth and building a life worth living for one's own family, children and household. Which is also God's way that leads to eternal life...

Those who decide to live under the shelter of Lord Jesus Christ will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. So I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. Only He is able to deliver you from the snare of the enemy (Satan) And from the deadly disease of eternal death. The Lord desires to gather you and your children together as a hen protects her chicks, where under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and fortress, where you will not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow of the enemy that flies in the day (Psalm 91)... "Cant you see that without Me (Jesus Christ) your house is left to you desolate; and I say to you, you will not know Me until the time comes when you can say, 'BLESSED IS THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!'"
