St Timothy: "understand this; In the last days terrible times on earth will come. Most people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disrespectful and abusive to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred or holy. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander without knowledge and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good and righteous."
