"They have traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise!
This is why God abandoned the nation to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other.
The men also, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men doing shameful things with other men, and as a result of this great sin sickness has fallen upon the nation and in their bodies, suffering within themselves the penalty they deserved.
Furthermore, since they thought it stupid to acknowledge God, Christ has abandoned them to their twisted thinking and allowed them to believe this great lie and do things that should never be done, even by animals.
As a result, the nation and their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. They have become backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they hate their own parents. So, as true-unbelievers, they have become senseless, faithless, heartless, and merciless.
Finally, although they acknowledge God’s justice requires that other people who do these things deserve punishment, yet they themselves believe they are immune and commit them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do the same, also."
