We've already been warned. "That the last generation will bring very difficult times. They will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God's teaching, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred or holy. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good and righteous. They will betray their friends and neighbors, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and worship worldly pleasures more than honoring God. They will on occasion act religious, but reject the power of Christ that can save them. Avoid people like that! 2 Timothy  3:1-5.
