When the Lamb of God (Jesus) broke open the third seal in heaven, I heard the third living creature who speaks for God call out, “Come.” then I looked, and behold, the black horse of famine; and the rider had in his hand a pair of scales to change world balance. And I heard a voice from among the four living beings say, let a loaf of wheat bread or three loaves of barley now cost an entire day’s pay.
