"How terrible it will be on JUDGMENT DAY FOR YOU who are wise in their own opinion, and clever in their own reckoning! YOU CHAMPIONS at drinking alcohol are as good as dead, who display great courage under the influence of strong drinks. YOU who pronounce the guilty innocent for a payoff, while YOU ignore the just cause of the innocent!
THEREFORE, as flames of fire devour straw, as dry grass collapses in flames, so their root will be rotten, and their blossom will blow away like dust, because they have rejected the instruction of the LORD of the Heavenly Armies, and have despised the word of GOD the Holy One of ISRAEL!
