*God condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and turned them into heaps of ashes. He made them an example of what will happen to ungodly people. But God also rescued Lot out of Sodom because he was a righteous man who was sick of the shameful immorality of the wicked people around him. Yes, Lot was a Godly man who was tormented in his soul by the evil wickedness he saw and heard from them day after day. So you see, the Lord God knows how to rescue Godly people from these situations, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of their final judgment!

Jesus said: “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to Hell is broad, and its double gates are wide because of the masses who willfully choose that way. But only one small gate leads to eternal life and the road is very narrow, and only a few by comparison ever choose it... Jesus answered, “I am the only way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to God the Father except through Me. (John 14:6)
