When you draw close to Christ in praying, believing, listening reading, fellowship,.. God honors our efforts and empowers us with the Holy Spirit. Sort of like living in deaf society and suddenly being able to hear. Very impactful in all areas but hard to explain to unbelievers. The nightly news always boast the latest lotto jackpots and lost people line up for hours at 300 million to 1 impossible odds for some short lived gain before eternal judment, never taking advantage of the biggest prize of all (eternal glory) bought and paid for by Jesus Christ as a sure winner with the odds of loseing 0%. All one has to do is repent, "ask God's forgiveness & commit to following Jesus Christ".
