ANOTHER GREAT QUOTE FROM FRANKLIN GRAHAM ON FB
Well, the presidential debates are now over. The countdown to the
election is on—November 8 is only 19 days away. My suggestion to
Christians? Pray earnestly. I pray God will open Americans’ eyes to
the threats that are looming before us. Our unsecured border to the
south. China's military buildup in the South China sea. The redrawing
of Europe’s borders and Europe now flooded with millions of
refugees. ISIS now fully operational in at least 18 countries and
growing. Russia’s engagement in Syria where they now have a massive
military presence. We need China and Russia as allies not
adversaries. America is in a far more dangerous and vulnerable
position than we were 8 years ago. And the most dangerous and
vulnerable place to be is away from God who has blessed this nation
more than any other on earth. The many problems we face cannot be
solved by man alone, but we must have Divine help to find peaceful
and long-lasting solutions.
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD” (Psalm 33:12).
MY POST.. What can I add to what this brave bold man of God has
already said? I say brave and bold because Mr Graham has put himself
on the front lines, helping us mobilize and organize to fight this
good fight. Yet I know that the credit for his strength as well as
all those who love and are led by God is not our own, but it comes
down from the Father of Lights and the Lord of Heaven's Armies. I no
longer like to imagine what it was like to live in this short life
without experience the grace, rebirth and knowledge of our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ. To know Him is to be able to put all of life
into perspective, even under the worst of circumstances, and to not
know Him is a life ultamatly not worth living, even under the best of
circumstances. But this is something that can only be exsplined to a
point. To realize it requires a step of faith in beleiving and
receiving Jesus Christ who created all things, as your personal Lord
and Master. Only then can you be adopted into the family of the only
true living and wise God.
*** Jesus Christ left Heaven and came into the very world he created,
but the world didn't recognize him. He came to his own, and even they
rejected him. But to all who do believed him and accepted him, he
gives the right and power to become children of the most high God.
(John 1:10-12)
