WITH ALL ITS TRIALS, THE STORY OF MY LIFE CAN BE SUMMED UP IN ONE VERSE, ROMANS 12:2
"Don't copy the behavior and customs of this dieing world, but let Almighty God transform you through Jesus Christ into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's perfect will for your life, which is good and pleasing.

CONSIDER THE MARVELOUS AND HOLY UNION THAT GOD CREATED IN MARRIAGE
From the beginning God created and sanctified marriage to be between man and woman. They were created male and female so that in marriage they would become one flesh, be fruitful, and multiply. So then within God's law the marriage bed is undefiled. But no further says the Lord!
Hebrews 13:4 Marriage between a man and woman should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, because God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually perverse.

So the Lord's blessing bestowed upon a husband and wife is spiritual and holy and cannot be duplicated only mimicked, which is called the works of the flesh. The work of the Spirit last forever, but the work of the flesh leads to decay and death both in this life and the life to come...
ROMANS 8:8 "That's why those who are still under the control of their sinful flesh-nature can never please God. But if you believe in Jesus Christ you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Holy Spirit of God living in you. And remember that those who do not have the Holy Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to God at all." In John 4:13 Jesus said: "Everyone who drinks the waters of this world will be thirsty again, But those who drink the spiritual water I give (Holy Spirit) will never be thirsty again. It becomes like a fresh, bubbling fountain within them, giving them eternal life."

Once we were dead because of our disobedience and our many sins. And we used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying Satan--the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the evil-spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse acknoledge and obey God.
All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful fallen nature. So we were subject to God's anger, just like everyone else. But because of His great love for us, God in His rich mercy, even though we were dead because of our sins, He gave us life when he raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Why it is only by God's grace that we have been offered the only way to salvation! (Ephesians 2:1)
