Therefore, we have not received a Spirit that makes us slaves to fear. Instead, you received God's Holy Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, "Abba, Father." For God's Holy Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God's children. And since we are God's born-again children, we are God's heirs. In fact, together with Jesus Christ we are heirs of God's glory. But if we are to share Jesus Christ's glory, we must also share His persecution. Yet what little we suffer now in persecution, is nothing compared to the glory God will reveal to us later!

ROMANS 8:15
