While the bible confirms "that it is appointed to each of us to die physically followed by the judgment of God of our souls and spirits, God also tells us that if we are born-againe of the Holy Spirit before physical death, we forgo His judgment and pass from physical death to eternal life in Christ Jesus!
My late wife Carol asked me how to become a Christian, and after explaining we prayed the sinners prayer together and afterwards she Imeadiatly fell into a deep sleep from her illness. But when she awoke an hour later she was overjoyed with the power of the Holy Spirit, a truly miraculous transformation. From that day forward just a few days till her physical death she was no longer afraid of death but looked forward to heaven. So starting this year I will no longer respect or honor the physical death of wife or my mother's who was also born-again and more recently also physically died. More importantly I will celebrate their rebirth in the Holy Spirit having been transformed in Christ Jesuss our Lord and Savior.
This truth upsets allot of unbelieving family members (the world), both unbelievers and those who pretend to know God but deny Him by their lifestyle. Without the presence of the Holy Spirit (born-again) no one can see eternal life after physical death, but only await the fearful expectation of judgment and of the raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.
NOW THE GOOD NEWS!
Although the wages of a sinful life without rebirth in Christ is an eternal death sentence, the free gift of God is eternal life through rebirth of the Holy Spirit by following His Son Christ Jesus The Lord.
