The LORD is the one who is shepherding me; I lack nothing. He causes me to lie down in pastures of green grass; he guides me beside quiet waters. He renews my life; He leads me along the right paths for His name's sake. Even when I walk through a valley of deep darkness, I will not be afraid because you are with me. Your rod of correction and your staff of protection—they comfort me. You prepare a feast before me in plain sight of my enemies. You refresh my head with oil, the cup of my heart is completely satisfied. Now I know that only your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and that I will dwell in the house of the LORD FOREVER! (PSALM 23:1-6)
