Almighty and most merciful God, have mercy on us the citizens of this nation which belongs to you, forgive us for  replacing you with the material things of this world because they come between our fellowship with you our God and Savior. Give each of us a contrite heart to turn to you in prayer with a sincere heart, and help us to invest our concerns in prayer with that same passion we have invested in this campaign for a new leader of our nation. A leader that most reflects your biblical truths, laws, and  support for your son Jesus Christ and His holy church. Let the choice be according to your will on earth as it is in Heaven Oh Lord, in Jesus Christ holy name we pray, amen.
