I know that at least 99% of all the worlds problems involve two mental states; 1 our perceived objective problems based on what we have invested in this world/ life. 2 Our perceived personal needs and desires based on our narcissistic hearts. Jesus Christ had to point out to Martha and for all of our sakes as well, that there is truly only one thing that all of us need that makes this life matter and worthwhile. Which is a right standing with God Almighty through an intimate friendship with Jesus Christ the creator and savior. If you don't get that right, nothing else in this life matter beyond a hill of beans. LUKE 10:41 “Martha was completely distracted with the pride of all her meal preparations; and she came up to Jesus and said, "Lord, don't You care at all that my sister Mary has left me to sit at your feet and listen while I'm left to do all the meal servings alone? Now tell her to help me right now!" But the Lord Jesus answered Martha and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are so preoccupied, worried and troubled about so many other things in this short life; but in reality there is only one thing that is both important and necessary, and Mary has chosen take part in the most important part (eternal life), and it will not be taken away from her."
