St Peter and St John answered the authorizes about their Law, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to obey your law rather than God, you must choose.. But as for us we who believe cannot but obey God and speak the truth of what we have seen and heard from the Lord.”
Jesus Christ is the solid “Rock of Salvation” for those of us who trust in Him and recognize the honor God has given Him. But for those who reject Jesus Christ and His Word, “Jesus Christ has become the “cornerstone” that this nation have rejected. And, “Jesus Christ is the Rock that makes these people stumble, Jesus is Rock that makes them fall.” They stumble because they do not obey God’s word, and so they will meet the fate that is planned for them. But we who believe in Jesus Christ follow his word are not like that, because we are a chosen people, we are His royal priesthood, and a Holy nation of born again believers, God’s very own possession. As a result, we can show others the goodness of God, because He also called us out of that evil darkness into His wonderful light of truth. “Once we had no real identity as a people destined only for eternal wrath; but now we are God’s people. Once we received no mercy after death; but now we have received God’s eternal mercy through Jesus Christ.” Dear friends, I warn you as “temporary residents and foreigners of this dieing world” to keep away from the lies of worldly darkness and those desires that wage war against your very souls and those of your children. Be careful to provide an example and live properly among your children and unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of making a mistake which you will, they will see your honorable behavior and lifestyle and believe and give honor to God when he judges the world...
