See how very much our Father loves us, because He calls us His children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know Him. Dear friends, we who are true believers are God’s children, but God has not yet shown us how we will change physically when Jesus Christ appears. But we do know that we will become just like Him, for we will be able stand before Him face to face and see Him as He really is. Anyone who has this eager expectation to meet Jesus will have the power to keep themselves pure, just as Jesus Christ is pure. Everyone who practices a sinful lifestyle is breaking God’s law, for all sin is contrary to the law of God. And you know that Jesus came to take away the sins of all true believers, and there is no sin in Christ. Anyone who continues to live in Christ Jesus will no longer live a sinful lifestyle.
