Holy Christian Matrimony before Almighty God! Dedicated to and for my daughter Sandy

With traditional marriage being redefined almost every year, the latest rumored version will soon be defined by a set contracted length of time. So now a man's vows or should I say spouse, might be something like... I promise to love and hold you till our 10 year contract is up so help me dog. Hence the world is now on its many paths which all lead to marriage or should I say civil union. Therefore to help untangle the confusion I feel it necessary to reaffirm what biblical marriage is for true believers. For us who believe, marriage is between one man and one woman as it was in the beginning, Gen 1:27/28 (“So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it.) This a holy spiritual covenant (not religious), blessed by God in which the man and the woman become one, Gen 2:24 (“For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one”). And again in Matt 19:6 (“Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together."). There you have Holy Christian Matrimony before Almighty God! So just like everything else God created “Holy Matrimony” between a man and a woman has a reason and purpose under heaven. Eccl 3:2 (“There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven-- a time to be born, a time to marry, a time to die, and a time for judgment..... Nevertheless true believers who participate in Holy Matrimony before God need to realize that they are not immune to the temptations and built up resentments that can destroy both marriage and the family unit. So everyday, married believers need to get on their knees and ask God to help them both (husband and wife) to forgive one another and be who they need to be as God intended loving & supporting each other as ONE. If you can do this, then just as believers cannot be separated from the love of God, nothing in this world will be able to tear your marriage apart, till death do you part....
