Satan doesn't deserve much attention but nevertheless in the
background he plays a major role in the lives of the unsaved and Christians who
have allowed themselves to be separated from an active relationship with their
savior Jesus Christ. How does one know if they or someone else is being manipulated
by Satan? It’s is as easy to recognize as
the ability to recognize good fruit on a good tree or the lack thereof on a diseased
tree. Without a healthy relationship
with Jesus Christ the individual, marriage, and family eventually suffers
damage. Especially in these evil days
where immorality and lawlessness is widespread and society indoctrinates our
youth and children filling the void in their hearts where the truth of God’s
love should reside, instead filled with the lie that we are just finite evolutionary
animals. These days more then ever
Parents of young children need to set an example of life in relationship Jesus
Christ, bearing good fruit of a life empowered and shielded by Holy Spirit bearing
the fruit of love, peace, truth, joy and faithfulness and spiritual power.
Without this an individual or family is open and unshielded to the dark forces
and influenced of the devil’s attacks, who works behind the scenes to destroy
what God has joined together slowly but surely. While it is true that the
prayers of the faithful can help bless and shield unbelievers, eventually they
must decide to either truly follow Jesus Christ under the umbrella of God’s salvation,
or see everything eventually fall apart is their lives. The examples of this
are plainly evident. As individuals, fathers and mothers we only have once
chance to get it right not just for themselves but their children.
The word of God Says:
Train up a child in the way he should walk in the Lord and
when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the
training and instruction of the Lord. Only
be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things God
has shown you or let his word fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach
them to your children and to their children after them. Teach them to your children, talking about
them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down
and when you get up.
