CLOSE WEST CANYON

This morning at 7am after my morning bicycle ride I was out on Big Red looking for some new trails when I found what I thought was a road on private land turned out to be an abandoned mining trail that lead back about 10 miles off a southwest fork to a hidden canyon. The trail continues on the south fork to what I believe is Mohave hidden Valley with picturess hills. I went as far as the west canyon wall to enjoy the early morning shade and look back as the trail which was steeper then I expected, unnoticed because of Big Reds power and nimble handling made the climb easy.
