Avi tent vendors and back yard firing range

Bob and I took a trip down river to the Indian reservation Casino known as Avi. We soon discovered they sponsor tent vendors on the weekends who sell mostly new items to tourist and nothing used or junky like at a typical swap meet in LA. This was too bad because I love old junky swap meets because even if you don't find what you are looking for you get a form of entertainment seeing allot of old funky cool stuff. Unfortunately that was not the case at AVI which had nothing you cant find at your local store for about the same price. But it was a beautiful day and if I had thought of it I would have recommended Lake Havasu swap meet to Bob as they have allot of old cool stuff and where I had found some old  WWII German beer mugs last year.
The following day I invited Bob to the firing range which I consider my back yard since all we have to do is cross the street to get to open desert which is why Bullhead City is getting very popular since all forms of recreation are withing a few miles of the town. Anyway it was another perfect day and fun to get back into target practice after leaving it alone for 2 years after I retired. That is the only bad thing about making a career out of a good hobby, whether it is guns, horses, or traveling the world,  it can ruin a favorite enjoyment until you leave it for a while to regain interest. Bob shown shooting my Springfield Armory national match rifle, hitting repetitive bulls-eyes at a 200 yards target.
It is a wonderful thing for us to enjoy our life and the things we have with other people, but its also imperative that we learn to walk with God's Son Jesus in our everyday lives, even with all of our imperfections in order to appreciate and value what he has given us and what he is offering us. To not do so is to invite evil and see ourselves eventually separated from everything we take for granted and not just in this life, but the life to come.
"I am the Door; anyone who enters in through Me will be saved and will live forever. He will come in and he will go out freely, and will find pasture. Evil comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance and to the full, till it overflows.” John 10:9-10
